HOW TO APPLY FROSTING SHEETS TO CHOCOLATE COVERED TREATS
Option 1 (Most Recommended): Attach After Chocolate Has Set
Make your chocolate treat first (e.g., chocolate-covered Oreo or cake puck) and allow it to fully set.
Melt a small amount of chocolate or use a heat gun to slightly warm the surface of the treat where the
frosting sheet will go.
Gently press the pre-cut frosting sheet onto the warmed chocolate surface.
Let it set for a few minutes until the image adheres completely.
Option 2: Embed Into Mold Before Pouring Chocolate
Place the pre-cut frosting sheet face-down (image side down) into the bottom of your mold.
Pour melted chocolate over the sheet, then add your filling (e.g., Oreo, cake, etc.).
Fill the rest of the mold with chocolate and tap gently to remove air bubbles.
Chill until fully set, then carefully pop the treat out of the mold to reveal the image.
Applying Frosting Sheets to Other Items
Cupcakes
Frost cupcakes with smooth buttercream or fondant (avoid wet or whipped toppings).
Let the surface sit for a few minutes to slightly crust, but remain tacky.
Place the frosting sheet gently on top, smoothing it out with clean, dry fingers.
Avoid refrigerating immediately after to prevent condensation.
Drink Toppers
Use frosting sheets that are made specifically for drinks (edible and dissolve safely).
Cut to the size of your glass rim, if not pre-cut.
Carefully lay the topper on the surface of a flat drink (like a latte, cocktail, or milkshake).
Serve immediately for the best visual effect—avoid overly bubbly or carbonated drinks.
Cakes
Cover your cake with fondant or smooth buttercream (not overly moist or oily).
Allow the surface to settle and slightly dry for better adherence.
Apply the frosting sheet, smoothing from the center outward to prevent bubbles.
Optionally, use a tiny amount of water or piping gel on the back of the sheet to help it stick, but avoid
over-wetting.
💡 Tip: If you’re making treats in advance and need to freeze them, wait about 20 minutes after removing them
from the freezer before applying the frosting sheets. The light condensation that forms can act as a natural
adhesive.
Each method gives a clean, professional look—just choose based on the type of treat you’re making!
